Simple File Cleanup (“the app”) is published by Antony Passemard / Brahak. This policy describes how the app handles information.
Summary
The app analyzes folders and files you choose entirely on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data or file contents.
Data we do not collect
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics or advertising trackers
- No upload of files or folder contents to our servers
- No sale of data to third parties
Data stored on your device
The app may store locally on your Mac:
- Your preferences (for example language, scan options, and column widths)
- Security-scoped bookmarks so it can reopen folders you previously selected (macOS sandbox)
- A local cache of the last analysis results so you can reopen the app without rescanning immediately
You control all of your files. Deleting the app removes its local preferences and cache.
File access
The app only accesses folders and files you explicitly add to scan, through standard macOS permission dialogs. You can remove folders from the scan list at any time. Moving items to Trash uses macOS Trash; it does not permanently erase files without your action in Finder.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
